Ashley Swan, DMD, MS
Dr. Swan earned her DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with honors in both community health and radiology. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honors Society and also earned membership to the prestigious Matthew Cryer Honor Society, which is the highest scholastic honor at Penn Dental Medicine.
Dr. Swan continued her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she earned a Master's Degree in Oral Sciences and an Endodontics Certificate.
Following residency, Dr. Swan worked for multiple years in private practice in the Greater Philadelphia area. She recently relocated to San Diego, where her husband is practicing Oral Surgery for the US Navy. Dr. Swan is a board-eligible endodontist and Gentlewave certified.
Dr. Swan consistently receives great feedback from both patients and referring doctors for her overall kindness, patience, and compassion. She believes in practicing high quality, evidence-based dentistry and enjoys working with and educating patients to help minimize anxiety and create positive dental experiences.
She currently resides in North County with her husband and Bernese Mountain Dog. She has traveled to over 75 countries around Asia, Africa, Europe, South America and the Pacific. In addition to traveling, in her free time, Dr. Swan loves to play tennis, attempt to surf, attend group fitness classes, and hike with her dog.
